NPHI Welcomes Grace Hospice

The National Partnership for Healthcare and Hospice Innovation (NPHI), the national voice for not-for-profit hospice providers, welcomes Grace Hospice as one of its newest members.

Grace Hospice is a mission-driven and faith-based organization providing quality end-of-life care in addition to support systems for its patients’ loved ones. Services offered by the hospice include pain management, emotional and spiritual support, and care provision that is expressly tailored to the patient’s needs and wishes.

“NPHI is thrilled to extend a warm welcome to Grace Hospice,” said Tom Koutsoumpas, NPHI CEO. “I resonate with their belief that that every person deserves to live out their life with respect and dignity, free of pain, and in an environment that promotes quality of life. I sincerely look forward to making that a reality alongside our committed NPHI members.”

Grace Hospice cares for hundreds of patients annually across the Twin Cities metro area of Minneapolis and St. Paul. As part of their mission to “celebrate the moments we have”, the hospice runs its A Touch of Grace program to give people the opportunity to enjoy special requests by creative staff who do their best to make wishes come true.

“Grace Hospice welcomes the opportunity to work with other respected mission-driven organizations as a member of NPHI,” said Sarah Van Winkle, CEO. “We look forward to exchanging ideas, sharing best practices, and building more advanced models of care for hospice patients and families.”

NPHI looks forward to working with Grace Hospice and continuing to advocate for high-quality, community-based, not-for-profit hospice, palliative, advanced illness care to patients throughout the nation.
