The National Partnership for Healthcare and Hospice Innovation (NPHI), the national voice for not-for-profit hospice providers, welcomes Northern Illinois Hospice as one of its newest members.
As the region’s first hospice provider and one of the first 50 hospice providers in the nation, Northern Illinois Hospice has over 40 years of experience serving patients. Since the organization was founded, Northern Illinois Hospice has prioritized delivering extraordinary, compassionate care to patients and their families. Over the decades, they have expanded their reach to families in Winnebago, Boone, Stephenson, DeKalb, Ogle, and western McHenry counties.
“NPHI is proud to welcome Northern Illinois Hospice to our member organization!” said Tom Koutsoumpas, NPHI CEO. “Their commitment to putting families first resonates with me deeply, and I look forward to collaborating with the full team in the future.”
One of the key values of Northern Illinois Hospice is honoring patients, which is fulfilled by their expert team meeting a variety of unique patient needs, including physical, emotional, and spiritual. Coupled with this is their expansive support for caregivers, including instruction and advice, family support, and bereavement services.
