May 18, 2020, Washington, DC: The recent highly visible launch of a toll-free number allowing 24/7 access to all 70 not for profit National Partnership for Hospice Innovation (NPHI) members across the country has also seen a rise in the demand for NPHI efforts to advance healthcare innovation on many fronts. To this end NPHI has filled two critical roles effective immediately – Chief Strategy Officer and Director of Policy and Innovation.
Chief Strategy Officer
Carole Fisher has been appointed Chief Strategy Officer and will oversee all strategic initiatives, across the entire spectrum of private and governmental partnerships including insurers, associations, private foundations, regulators, and governing agencies. Included in Carole’s portfolio will be the review of all policy and advocacy proposals plus new initiatives that further healthcare improvements for all Americans.
Carole is the former President and CEO of Nathan Adelson Hospice where during her tenure was recognized as a 100 Best Places to Work in the U.S. for 8 years. Prior to her role there in southern Nevada, she serves as the Executive Director of Southwest Medical Associates (SMA) where she supervised eight medical clinics.
Commenting on Carole’s new role, NPHI CEO Tom Koutsoumpas, noted: “We are thrilled to have Carole on the team and leading the effort to expand care initiatives at this critical time when we face a rapidly aging population and how that will affect their future care and those that care for them.”
Director of Policy & Innovation
NPHI also welcomes Tzvetomir Gradevski as Director of Policy & Innovation to support a wide range of legislative and regulatory activities as well as partner with national and international healthcare institutions to launch advanced illness care solutions through the NPHI Innovation Lab.
Tzvetomir has previously served as a policy advisor to NPHI as part of the Healthsperien Group, a nationally recognized consultant to hospice and advanced illness care organizations.
Regarding Tzvetomir’s joining NPHI, CEO Koutsoumpas remarked, “Tzvetomir brings an analytical rigor and depth of relevant policy knowledge that instantly adds tremendous value to every initiative we undertake going forward.”
